ETIPP Application Period Open Through Nov. 18, 2026

Eligible applicants include:

• Any island community;
• Any community within 50 miles of the coast;
• Any community with a population under 50,000 anywhere in any coastal state or eastern Tennessee; or
• Any Tribe anywhere in any coastal state or eastern Tennessee.

Please note that, in our experience, smaller communities, especially with populations below 10,000 or even 1,000, tend to be more competitive candidates for ETIPP. Applicants may be local governments, Tribes and Tribal organizations, community-based organizations (including nonprofits and nongovernmental organizations), academic institutions, special purpose districts such as school districts and water districts, municipal utilities, or electric co-ops.
