SSDN’s Federal Programs Team provides technical assistance to communities to access federal and state funding. The funding list below includes current grants with a sustainability component that are available. Please refer to the original funding announcement and webpage prior to starting an application in order to assess whether your community is eligible for the opportunity. 

In addition to providing direct grant writing assistance, SSDN also maintains resources to support grant applicants. SSDN, with the support of Georgia Tech students, developed a platform that provides access to our database of grant opportunities.  The Green Grant Exchange includes example application narratives and budgets, along with statistics on the historic success rates and award status of past applications.

SSDN members are also able to share experiences with specific grant programs to help peers gain insight from others to help you decide whether an opportunity is worth pursuing.
