VIDEO: Build It Green (BIG) in Chattanooga, TN

SSDN is funding the City of Chattanooga, Tennessee, and green | spaces as part of its Southeast Sustainable Communities Fund program to work on low income energy efficiency and workforce development throughout the city.

green|spaces in partnership with Build Me a World launched Build it Green (BIG) in 2018. Focused on building community leaders and preparing them for careers in construction and energy service industries, BIG is creating pathways out of poverty for at-risk young adults. Since starting, the program has graduated 100% of participants through their 12-week paid training program and today 16 of 18 are employed or are in process of obtaining their GED!
