2020 Annual Meeting Cancellation

Mindful of coronavirus concerns, Southeast Sustainability Directors Network (SSDN) is cancelling the 2020 SSDN Annual Meeting in Savannah, GA, previously scheduled for May 4-6, 2020.  The health of our members and communities is our first priority, therefore we feel the best course of action is to limit our gatherings at this time.

For our primary members that have already booked flights to Savannah, we encourage you to reach out to the airline as soon as possible to cancel your flight and see if you can receive a reimbursement for your ticket.  If you are told that you cannot get reimbursed for your flight, please notify Vanessa King (vanessa@southeastsdn.org) ASAP so we can address each member’s needs individually.

For our secondary members that have registered for the annual meeting, SSDN did not send invoices for your registration, so no secondary member has submitted payments that would need to be reimbursed.

The SSDN leadership team, Steering Committee and Annual Meeting Planning Committee will be developing a plan to conduct portions of our annual meeting virtually. We will continue to update members as plans are developed. We are currently planning to use the Zoom platform for our virtual sessions. If you have any limits to online access that we need to be aware of, please email Vanessa King highlighting your needs.

Thank you for your continued commitment to our network, and we wish you all health and safety in the upcoming weeks.

Please feel free to reach out to us with any questions or concerns that you have.
